Bifentraz ®

Bifentraz is a selective acaricide for the control of two spotted mites (Tetranychus urticae and Tetranychus cinnabarinus) and it can be used for tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cucumbers, melons, water melons, pumpkins, strawberries and ornamental plants in both the field and protected areas. its provides knockdown long time effect through contact activity and a subsequent long residual control on all mobile stages of mites and additionally has some ovicidal against spider mites. Active substance: 240 g/l Bifenazate

Mode of action: Mitochondrial complex III electron transport inhibitors. Bifentraz is a selective product for the control of mites in agricultural crops. By applying the product, it has a fatal effect 4 days after application, through contact, followed by a long residual activity on pests.

Advantage: Long duration control of all stages of mites. It is safe for beneficial insects.

Application recommendations:

- The product is applied as soon as the first mites are observed on the crop.
- Good coverage of foliar, top and bottom, with sufficient volume of solution is recommended for increased effect.
- It is not recommended to use low volume equipment (atomizers).
- A maximum of 2 treatments with Bifentraz 240 SC per year, on the same crop, with a 7-day repeat or 1-2 products from another chemical group between treatments is recommended.
- When the product is applied in protected areas (greenhouses, solariums) avoid entering them for at least 2 hours until the leaves are dry and the space is ventilated.
- The staff working in these spaces must wear gloves and long sleeved clothing at least 14 days after application. Between the last treatment and harvest a 24-hour break time is provided.
